As the movie advances, settings will keep changing from under water to the skies. The film features Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Lara Dutta and Zayed Khan. After playing a short role in blue, Katrina Kaif will be seen as the female lead in this sequel to the film and will be romancing Akshay Kumar in it. Sanjay Dutt has been cast opposite Lara Dutta while Zayed Khan has been paired with Neha Oberoi. Blue was shot in the Bahamas, but Aasman will be shot in Australia. The director has reportedly said that there will be a new male lead. He has considered getting John Abraham to play that role however, no confirmation was received  from John in this regard. SonalChauhan will also appear in the film.Aasman is expected to release in late 2011.
